Hurricane Ian recovery in Naples shows considerable progress

Hurricane Ian recovery in Naples has been underway for nearly two months and considerable progress is being made along the Gulf beaches.
 
Ian made landfall in Lee County on September 28, bringing devastating storm surge to coastal communities.

Experts say they anticipate a strong tourism return this winter and spring season along the beachfront.
 
Hurricane Ian recovery in Naples has continued at a record pace with debris removal. Kari Hodgson, director of the county's solid and hazardous waste management division said we could expect “substantial completion” as early as this week, the Naples Daily News reports.
